Iskaka Village, Tana Island, Vanuatu – December 30, 2015: Lava View tree-house. This accommodation 10-15 metres above the ground (website claimed 40 metres high) provided thrilling panoramic views over the jungle and rumbling volcano. The sound of the volcano was very pronounced, especially at night. There was a thunder-like sound every 5-10 minutes.
